The Captain Gabby and crew get blessed!
On Sunday, April 18th 2010, Darien, Ga held its 42nd annual Blessing of the Fleet. The Captain Gabby was one of 10 shrimpboats that got blessed individually that day. It was very exciting to motor along beside the same hard-working shrimp boats like Gabby once was. This article came out that day in the Georgia Times Union :

The Captain Gabby and crew help shoot a kayak fishing show in McIntosh and Glynn County.
On Monday, May 3rd 2010, a crew representing the Kayak Fishing Show boarded the Captain Gabby for 4 days and 3 nights of fun and fishing and food. The conditions for fishing were rough, but everyone enjoyed what the boat and crew had to offer.
